Digital & Future Technologies were formed in 2001 as a bespoke electronics development house.
We work with our end customers to implement and bring new technologies into their marketplaces.
We work to provide solutions that bridge the gap between incumbent and emerging technologies providing cost effective means to keep pace with technological change.
We have worked in a wide range of client disciplines, from Medical Device Engineering, to Digital LED control, through to Wireless Data Distribution and Satellite communications.
From providing Human Physiological sensor data connected to Geostationary Orbit Satellites through to wireless control systems for the London Eye, we have provided a range of services to our clients, from sub contract research through to temporary systems deployment in some of the most peculiar locations, we are Digital and Future Technologies Ltd.
HISTORY
2001 – D&FT provide Avolites with eDMX the first DMX lighting control system to be routed over WiFi – Product goes on to be distributed internationally.
2002 – D&FT provide Essential Lighting Limited with the London Eye Wireless DMX control system, providing synchornous data transfer to all 32 capsules of the London Eye for the marking of Midnight Ceremonies.
2003 – D&FT provide NOKIA with wireless control system for Regent Street Christmas Lights.
2004 – D&FT provide Avolites with mDMX prototype – routing DMX control data over Ethernet over Powerline communications.
2005 – D&FT win PLASA award for Innovation for multi channel mDMX product.
2006 – D&FT and Luminex of Belgium link England and France via data link, providing automation control across La Manche.
2007 – D&FT provide the British Army Makalu expedition remote physiology monitoring and BGAN communications.
2008 – D&FT develop new battery powered LED uplighter for entertainment industry.
2009 – D&FT actively involved in Formula 1 Telemetry systems.
2010 – D&FT provide situational awareness multi modal multi spatial 3D CCTV realisation software to defence contractor.
2011 – D&FT provide medical start up Cardiocity with hardware engineering to monitor heart’s performance form the hands.
2012 – D&FT win PLASA award for Innovation for Super2Fer Audio/Lighting/Ethernet routing over Powerline communications.
2013 – D&FT provide research systems for the establishment of Blood Pressure through a wristband.
2014 – D&FT provide remote communications and ECG monitoring system to Namibian desert researchers.
2015 – D&FT undertake zero gravity research , looking at the effects of gravity on Blood Pressure.
